my SSS adventure and his two front teeth

last monday i was with my tita at the SSS diliman branch to check regarding her pension, and that is not the first time we went there, i think mga 3 times na pabalik-balik on last 4 months, imagine, as in sobrang pahirap, pension na nga ng tita ko yun papahirapan pa cya.. ay ewan ko ba! the positive part is that nakarating ako sa SSS main branch hehe, sobrang laki pala dun, at isa lang ang napansin ko... ang daming empleyado ng sss... grabe. well i never expected na ganun kadami lalo na dun sa building with 11 floors, maybe because main branch nga kaya sobrang dami, pero ang nakakadismaya wala naman silang ginagawa... ang daming lates na nagdatingan, tapos tsismisan, tapos breaktime na nila, tapos tsismisan ulit sila... ewan ko ba... as in nag-file up na yung mga tao na nangangailangan ng service nila, sila tuloy lang sa huntahan... tsk tsk tsk... at eto pa, after 2hrs waiting there ang sasabihin lang sa amin ay....

" bumalik na lang po kayo after a month.."

im on the night shift this week so i was planning last monday to wash all my stuff toys and to do a general cleaning of my room kasi mas mukhang bodega na yung room ko, books, magazines, shoes and bags nagkalat na... ndi ko nga alam pano pa ako nakakatulog sa room ko eh LOL... but seriously my room badly needed some good cleaning!! and i was supposed to do that last monday after the SSS thing... kaya lang malas yata talaga ang monday ko, when we got home my cousin and my other tita were very frantic and they were saying things na i cannot understand because they talk so fast and they keep on telling me bitin sentences, like...

"nagkita na kayo ng mama mo??"
"punta ka sa store nyo kasi si ano"
"nandun si ano, bilisan mo punta ka na dun"

ang reaction ko tuloy, ano daw??? as in wala ako maintindihan sa sinasabi nila... tapos sabi ko teka, isa-isa lang hindi ko ma-gets sinasabi nyo... and they said

"punta ka sa tindahan nyo, kasi nandun si joanne, dala nya si bumbum, nahulog sa hagdanan, ang daming pasa sa mukha at natanggal yung ipin nya sa ibaba!" ( my tita pointing to her chin )

"at si mama mo sobrang nerbyos nahihirapan huminga"....

hay, natulala ako after hearing the news... i can't talk back. feeling ko nalaglag ang puso ko.

then when i got at the store they told me that they were already at the hospital, so pati ako sobrang nerbyos... buti na lang papa ko sobrang cool lang ( knowing na may high blood pressure pa cya ha ), so sunod naman kami sa hospital, pagdating namin dun wala na ipin si bumbum :( he already have 6 teeth, 4 sa taas 2 sa baba, unfortunately lahat nung ipin nya sa baba natanggal :( try pa nga sana ng doctor na i-save kaya lang hindi safe kasi baka malunok nya daw kasi talagang natanggal na, kapag 5 or 6 yrs. old na cya dun pa lang ulet tutubo yung 2 ipin nya :(

after cya mabigyan ng gamot the doctor told us he needs to eat an ice cream daw para maampat yung pagdudugo, luckily no actually miracle na walang nabaling buto at ndi naman cya nagkaroon ng head injury. ( thanks god talaga )

pagbalik namin sa bahay from hospital pinakain namin cya ng ice cream, ok naman, kumakain naman cya, tapos after nya maubos yung maliit na cup, he starter to cry... kasi nabitin cya! hehe lokong bata...

sabi nga ng doctor baka daw maapektuhan at humina yung pagkain at pag-dede nya, which is hindi nangyari kasi after nya mag-ice cream nakaubos agad cya ng 110z na milk hehehe.. and after that makulit na ulet cya, super sayaw at super beautiful eyes na ulit hehehe..

hay, afterall naman pala hindi rin ganun ka-malas ang monday ko :) yun nga lang ndi na ako nakapag-linis gaya ng plan ko... pero ok lang at least ok si bumbum pati na rin ang mama ko :) marami pa namang mondays na darating :)

been really busy lately and many things had happened and i hope i can write all of them here now :)

been in good times and bad times these past few weeks... emotions are from very high to very very low...

on personal...

got too many thoughts that racing inside my head that needed some answers but don't know how.. waaaaaaaaa too emotional.. just don't like it... kasi naman ang mga lalake madalas talaga sakit ng ulo :P (woppssssss... excuse me mga guys hehe)

though i feel a bit better now, still im on the low point of my life... maybe because of the rains.. lol. but seriously im hurting... im hurting for a lot of things that is happening in my life right now... sometimes i feel tired and readily to give up.. i just don't have the courage to end it... i wish i have.

on family...

my father was confined at the hospital because of diabetis and for possible amputation. it was a real shock to our family, i really prayed hard to please no amputation for my papa.. and luckily enough his wound healed faster that we expected and that his body reacted to the insulins, we were all relieved about his fast recovery.. we just need to stick on his diet, sometimes he seems to be stubborn but now he try to listen to us na, kasi he knows that it will do him good :)

actually we were suprised that he is a diabetic... diabetis doesn't run in our family, high blood pressure, yes. my uncles and lolo got a high blood pressure that lead to series of strokes :( pero they are still alive pa naman, yun nga lang si lolo medyo weak na and naka-wheelchair na, but mind you he's in his 80's, not bad :)

my papa had his stroke too, during the time FPJ got one too and went into comma.. gad i was so paranoid and so afraid that time... kasi feeling ko baka maging ganun din cya katulad ng kay FPJ, but God is good, he survived.

so ngayon naman, masyadong cyang nagpapa-baby sa amin, sus. but its ok, as long as he is there and whole :)

calatagan

at last nakapag-swimming din ako :) last saturday we went to some calatagan, batangas beach... well although nothings to rave about the beach... ok na din as a get-away weekender :) plus sabit lang kasi ako kaya ndi ako pwdeng magreklamo :P at ang akala ko pa nga drawing ulit ang lahat :P lol..

well nakakatawa lang kasi everytime na meron akong lakad parang the universe is conspiring para hadlangan ako lol :P

usapan namin, they will pick me up at the office at 2PM, so kahit normally i just can't go home as early as that pinilit ko talaga at super paalam pa ako sa bossing ko.. to be only disappointed not being picked up at 2PM... well siguro im just too excited kaya medyo na badtrip ako at naisip ko tuloy bigla dati kapag summer na 5-6 outings ang nagagawa ko buong summer pero ngayon isa na nga lang pahirapan pa :P

and blessing in disguise na din ang hindi nila pagtupad sa tamang oras.. kasi 2 times nag-down ang mga system namin, my gad!! i really thought goodbye calatagan na talaga ang beauty ko :) good thing nakisama naman ang mga systems and network connections after that two downtimes, yun nga lang on the way sa destination namin super monitor pa din ako sa mga nangyayari sa office..

5:30PM they were on the G/F waiting for me... sa wakas dumating din sila and super asked ako kung bakit sila late... and to think na sabit lang ako hehehe..

nonetheless, after all the mishaps... i enjoyed the trip, at least nakapag-swim ako hehe... the place is not that cool pero pwede na din... and its not that crowded.. we went boating in the morning and some snorkling kaya enjoy na din :)

plus... this trip was full of emotions and revelations... that led to alot of thinking and weighing of things afterwards.. but one thing is for sure, this is one the best summer i had.

nung nakaraang araw nasa jeep ako galing ng work at pauwi na.. konti lang kami, 6 lang kami na pasahero, dalawa kami sa right side at apat naman sa left side.. habang traffic nagbabasa ako ng book, i heard na yung babae sa pinakadulo ng jeep may kausap sa cellphone nya, she's discussing about a pawnshop na pwdeng magpadala ng money.. then the girl next to her biglang nag-ring ang phone so 2 na silang may kausap... then yung katabi nilang guy biglang may kausap na din sa cp nya, so 3 silang magkakatabi na konti lang ang pagitan sa isa't-isa na may kausap sa cp... bigla ako napahinto sa pagbabasa at pinagmasdan ko sila.. actually natatawa ako sa kanila... kasi sabay-sabay sila nagsasalita... kaya kaming 3 na walang kausap sa cellphone nakatunganga sa kanilang 3.. ewan ko ba amused na amused ako hehehe..

kagabi naman sa jeep ulet.. yung driver ng jeep kasama nya yung asawa nya.. taga-sukli yung misis nya.. at habang traffic na naman (hay sobrang matindi talaga ang traffic sa las piñas) yung driver nya at yung wife nagdidiskusyon..

misis : naku pano tayo pupunta sa kabilang bahay may naka-babad pala akong kumot kailanngan ko ng labhan yun..

driver : sa hapon mo na lang labhan..

misis : ganito na lang, punta ka sa palengke ng maaga, mag-motor ka nalang habang naglalaba ako para sa hapon makapunta tayo sa kabilang bahay..

driver : eh bakit mag-isa lang ako pupunta ng palengke.. ndi ko nga alam ang bibilhin..

misis : eh ano gagawin ko, alangan naman magkasama pa tayo.. kaya mo na yun, gamitin mo naman yung utak mo.

driver : ( tahimik na lang habang nakasimangot )

last april 21 we welcomed another angel on our family :) i have a new niece! her name is sophia april... and her nickname is potpot. ang layo ng nickname no hehe.. kapatid cya ni bumbum ;)

she's a healthy baby girl with chinita eyes, though her ~~hands~~ fingers are not fully developed and her left foot needs to be cast for 6 months to be corrected and for her to be able to walk normally.

Tatlo lang ang daliri nya... on left hand thumb lang ang nabuo, on the right hand the index and the little finger lang ang nabuo, magkakadikit yung middle finger and ring finger nya pati yung thumb... parang commercial break sign yung fingers nya sa right hand... sabi ng mga doctor pwde pa naman daw ma-correct yun thru surgery pero kailangan nya munang lumaki... pero yung left hand wala na talaga pag-asa.

Her left foot naman, muntik ng maputol kasi napa-ikutan ng umbelical cord nya and nakatihaya yung paa nya kaya need na ma-correct bago cya mag-start maglakad.

At first, my family was all shocked at the news and was so sad... and everyone took pity on her like relatives and friends... but now we are happy to have her and we will do anything and everything for her.

and being on the 3rd world country ( hmmm 3rd world pa nga ba?? ) many people are struggling to have money to buy food and to accomodate necessities.

weird dreams

i had some weird dreams the other night and i seems not to forget it.

just this week, dalawang beses ako nanaginip na ako daw ay hini-holp up... waaaaaaa :(

the 1st one was, i was on a trike and ndi ko alam kung san ako pupunta.. then there is a guy seated beside me, and then one guy sa back ride when we turn left on a corner the guy beside me put out a balisong and declared "hold-up miss!" at bigla ako nagising..

the other night i had the same dream, being held-up but on a different place... i was eating out with a friend, on my dream i was wondering why we are eating on the food stall on the street knowing my friend to be very choosy on foods.. the tables are on the main road and there are many people walking, suddenly 3 men approached us and took a seat on the chairs at our table, then 2 women stood behind us, then i realized the man in front of me was already getting my valuables inside my bag, i grabbed my bag because i was worried on my celphone and my money that supposed to be brother's tuition fee that was inside of the bag too, but the man already put the balisong on face :( at bigla ulet ako nagising...

kaya eto ang after effect... paranoid.. lalo na at friday the 13th kahapon, never pa kasi akong na-hold up buong buhay ko *knock on wood*... signos kaya to?? waaaaaaaaaaaa :(

during the holy days, i spent it working and just staying home at my parents house after office... my shift ends earlier than the usual and i loved it.. because i have more free time to spend with my nephew.. i just so love my nephew.. our little bumbum... i also love my niece bambam syempre :)... but since bambam is with her mom and dad and not living with us i have more bonding time with bumbum... i like carrying him all around the house, play with him on the floor, feeding him, peak-a-boo game where i usually hid at a corner of the house or post, or ask him to do some cute baby tricks like the classic close-open and beatiful eyes haha.. plus dancing and clapping and apir!... and when i say "paamoy ng lele (kili-kili)" he would raise his two arms promptly hehe :P

maundy thursday, good friday and black saturday had passed... and i did not do something traditional but pray... and work.. yes i spent once again my holy week inside our office working and eating lots-a-lots of ice cream :) (well, pampalubag loob nila sa akin, lol)

i'm used to this kind of working schedule, since i started to work here in our company 6 years ago, lagi ng ganito ang holy week.. my family got used to it too... iba na ang dedicated :p but deep down im longing for a holy week vacation... but what can i do..

so for 6 years.. no pabasa, no siete palabras, no visita iglesias, no procession.. basta wala lahat... kaya pray na lang ako.

i missed doing the pabasa, station of the cross.. etc... i was so active at our church when i was still in college, as in super participate ako sa lahat... but since i started working everything changes... well i don't forget to attend mass and pray but ndi na ako super active sa mga gawain sa church.. im a catholic.

well i guess, its a choice naman eh... for me its my choice to work na lang kasi i cannot afford to lose my job right now, super critical kasi ang office namin sa mga ganitong holidays... and they really made it clear upon hiring us that we do not observe philippine holidays, including holy week.. and for 6 years.. nasanay na din ako :)

its april month and we could really feel the summer's heat... and we can imagine the beaches waves :)

but before i enjoy the summer breeze, i wanted to post something about women in my life.. i know its a bit late for the women month, but hey, better late than never! hehe.. just got so pre-occupied lately and should had been posted this one earlier..

judy - she's my sister, 2nd to me, happily married with one kid. i just adore her because she is caring with her family esp. with my niece.. before kasi she seems to be the wicked witch in the family haha, what i mean is super sunget nyan.. topakin pa :P but now that she's married and a mom, she has changed alot.. she's been so responsible and had toned down from being maldita :)

joanne - sister, 3rd in our fam, single mom with one kid and one on the way.. actually i was so furious about her a month ago, maybe because of her situation.. but i admire her for being strong and for her courage for her babies. she's young but i know she can handle well her babies and take care good of them.

jencel - our lovely bunso, i just love her. so innocent yet smart. very passionate and loving though sometimes sobrang kulet. we loved her anyway.

last week was not so good week for me.. so lazy to do things, so unproductive, been thinking a lot *sigh* ... plus i've got a very heart breaking news..

i wonder why politics exists in companies.. not only here but abroad too.. i always thought politics don't apply on other countries, such as progressive countries.. but i am so wrong..

and now i really feel bad.. it has nothing to do with me personally, i am hurt right now because of a very dear friend..

a friend who's always been there to help me and get me thru all these years with our work related problems.. and now i feel so helpless not even know how can i help him.. :(

for the longest time i was able to watch a movie last saturday haha.. gad how i missed watching movies...

we've watched 300 at a movie house near our office... and it was absolutely good! at first i was so hesitant to watch it kasi nga feeling ko baka boring... buti na lang, i changed my mind :)

it was indeed one of the great movies i've ever seen.. great story, great cinematography, great color.. basta great lahat hehe..pero wag kayo masyado maniwala sa akin, kasi ndi ako magaling na critic, haha. basta para sa akin great cya :)

and i absolutely salute the 300 spartans and King Leonidas

viva la 300 spartans! :) it was worth the 130php hehe :)

hay.. bad news naman.. i've been suffering from headaches lately.. i don't know why.. before ganito na din ako.. madalas sumpungin ng headaches pero nawala di naman.. but lately its re-occuring.. shocks! little did i know baka matitigok na pala ako hehe, wag naman sayang naman ang lahi ko ndi ko pa nakikita :P

emails and baptism

been busy with work lately kaya ndi nakakapag-update :) but guys buhay pa naman ako hehe.. so musta naman ang mga buhay-buhay natin dyan???

well maraming nangyari for the past week... well i hope maisulat ko pa lahat lol.

we had a very bad internet connection sa office the past week, my gad.. parusa... super backlog na kami tapos down lahat ng systems.. waaaaaaa... kaya one week din mainit ang ulo, ching! haha.. but seriously talagang ndi maganda ang timpla ko the past week, siguro sa pressure na rin sa work at sobrang daming iniisip.. very critical ang week na nagdaan... at before the week ends, may sobrang nagpa-init ng ulo ko na naging cause ng series of emails including the bosses.. well, nothing to worry on me kasi im on the right track.. ang mga kabangga ko... IT dept! haha... they learned their lessons now, ( i hope ) and as of the moment the people involved in the incident is making a good alibi/explanation on our IT director..

i didn't feel guilty over to what i did, because what i wrote in the email are all true, akala lang nila i would always be the girl na tatahi-tahimik at hinde magrereklamo sa nga kapalpakan nila.. well last Saturday they are all definitely wrong.. as in sobrang napuno ako sa pagpapasa-pasahan nila ng phone and totally ignoring my reports about a specific system na naka-down which happened to be badly needed to be up.... kaya sorry na lang sila, kasalanan naman nila kaya magdusa sila haha...

i had mentioned before that i have 2 pamangkins na.. a boy and a girl.. we call them bambam and bumbum.. no, they are not twins :) 1 month apart lang sila... about the name, well kagagawan ng mga kapatid kong studs yun hehe, type lang nila ganun ang gawing nicknames ng mga angels kong pamangkin...

ethan cedric is the boy's name

oh diba mga bongga.. haha. english na english ang mga names.. ang layo ng nicknames lol :P

last sunday, it was bambam's baptism.. kaya supert pagod me sa kaka-entertain ng mga bisita, kasi mostly naman ng bisita nila is mga kakilala ko, mga former schoolmates ng kapatid ko.. kaya super help ako sa pag-assists sa kanila, plus ako'y isang yaya kapag sunday hehe gusto ko kasi ako nag-aalaga sa kanila ( nagpa-practice na for the future haha )

masaya naman yung occasion, sobrang fun, yung isang ninong super reto namin sa isang cousin ko haha, they look good together :)

stitches

im back to cross stitching this week :) and i hope i could finish the design in month's time, i have a lot of new patterns that i wanted to stitch and hopefully i could find some time to do them.. im thinking for selling them abroad.. naks! hehe via my tita in canada :)

and since im on the night shift again this week, i do my craft after office hours which is mostly 10am.. i went to work around 8-9pm and leave the next day at around 9-10am.. so 1hr travel or 1 1/2hrs because of traffic, then rest for 30mins and then presto!!

off to work on my stitches for about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hrs.. and that would give me about 3-4hrs left for sleep.. my bad.

that's me, i can't hold off myself when i do something like this, i could feel so relaxed and sometimes forget to sleep...

and today im paying the prize for being crazy with stitches... got a big headache and some colds. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :(

i was thinking not to report for work today but there's alot of scheduled conference calls and training that needs to be done, so i went to work anyhow with this bad headache.

well im wishing to end this day soon.. for me to have some decent sleep. i promise not to touch my cloth and needle today. hay.

i have always wanted to travel, around the philippines or probably around the world...

i'd love to see alot of things... i'd been on some of the places here in pinas, i'd been to seas and moutains.. and had been once out of the country too.. well hopefully, twice, this coming april or may :)

and i could say seeing beautiful places make me realized that life is not that bad after all... i could feel God's love thru His creation and i feel very blessed.

given a chance i would love to explore the world...

well, tsaka na, kapag mayaman na ako, haha.

but there's one place that i hope marating ko someday :)

and that is batanes! sobrang nainggit talaga ako kay ferdz, haha.

i was actually surprised to see batanes as a beautiful island... so peaceful and relaxing.. dati kasi ang paniniwala ko ang batanes is nothing but daanan ng bagyo :) and i was definitely so wrong.

everybody is talking about the kris-james-hope tangle... i don't know why i cannot restrain myself on not commenting about the issue.. or siguro pakialamera lang talaga ako hehe..

wala lang.. sobrang minsan nakakainis lang, kahit ndi ako involved sa isyu, nakaka-asar isipin na may mga taong gaya ng Hope na yan.. im not being judgmental here..

tama nga naman ang kasabihan no, minsan mas malakas pa ang loob ng mga kerida kesa sa orig. tsk tsk tsk.

ang nakaka-inis lang, why did Hope need to speak up? to clear her side? to hear her story about the issue?? the nerve... she is so haliparot talaga.. at talagang affectd daw ako haha

hay.. sobrang dami ng work.. baka akala nyo wala na ako, kaya nagpaparamdam lang :) it has been a busy and tiring week for me... but im fine, buhay pa naman ako :)

there had been a lot to blog about but just don't have much time to post.. kaya naman i took some time to post kahit konti :)

hmmmm... where should i start ba??...

1) last week the special someone i mentioned on my last post got hospitalized due to dengue... yikes.. nakakatakot, as in i was totally shocked when i found out. eh kasi naman ndi ko ma-imagine na magkaka-dengue cya.. so i got very worried.. but thanks God he's fine now and he's back to work

2) sobrang dami ng work since last last week, we had this annually evaluation of the staff here and im onr of the evaluators and its pretty exhausting because we needed to prepare some datas and to justify the increase they will get, and Feb month has the most number of people that we need to do the evaluation for their annual increase and Im one of the feb people hehe ( manager ko ang nag-evaluate sa akin and the VP and i got a good grade and fair increase, not bad :) )

3) im currently addicted to PRINCESS HOURS hay grabe... haha. Its one of my fun in the day :) as in sobrang natutuwa ako kay princess janelle and prince gian :)

4) im also currently on the war zone with that special someone.. hehe.. its just so weird.. walang dengue-dengue sa akin, basta we are not in good terms... and im totally avoiding him because im so pissed off. hay life. tsk tsk, mag-valentines pa naman.. tapos malapit na din bday ko... tsk tsk tsk... how sad.. well ganyan talaga ang buhay.

5) i told myself at the start of the year na i would really need to try to diet.. grabe.. sobrang hirap. i just hope makatagal ako hehe :)

rants and joys

hay, its been awhile since i posted an update... kasi naman i got really busy the past week. im working on the night shift then at day i accompanied my tita to file for a retirement pension at the SSS, grabe ang bagal talaga nila mag-process ng papers, nakakainis...

and here's the catch after 3 days of sacrificing my much needed rest and sleep, we still need to go to the main office at quezon city by monday kasi nagka-problem cya for the late payments....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

and still i'll be working at the night shift this coming week and on monday we had a scheduled training for the office confidentiality and security because we are expecting some visitors next week...

and i needed to be at office the at 4pm... waaaaaaaaa ano na naman kaya ang itsura ko nun.. wala na naman akong pahinga... the next day na ang uwi ko..hay buhay.

i've been living with this energy drink for the past days... i don't want to take it sana kaya lang i badly needed it for my night shift work. before i used to took 1-2 bottles daily, yeah daily.. i know its bad for health kaya nga i stopped until last monday until wednesday. some asked me kung nakakatulong daw ba talaga sa akin, and i said yes.. i don't know why but it really works for me, for some people kasi wala daw effect, i mean hinde nakakatulong. hhmmmm ewan ko... but for me its a big help. but yeah... its not good for our health.

pyro finale

still on pyro fever :) was able to witnessed the last day of WPO which was last saturday jan. 13 and i should say it was the best :) although the traffic was really bad too, though it worth it :)

we parked at the heritage hotel and just walked from there to Splenade, yummskie, his officemate and his officemate's bro was a good company during the interval of 1st and last show :D

after the show the huge crowd were walking from the MOA to Edsa kahit medyo mahaba yung lakaran it was fun :) feeling ko EDSA 5 hehe.

i've got some photos to share during the last day of WPO, i took a video recording using my cp and from there i took some snapshots :) its not best though pero pwede na pagtiyagaan haha.

i must say, for me it was China who should have won in this contest... super duper galeng! hanep sa fireworks and the colors are truely wonderful :) all the people just can't stop saying WOW every now and then.. no dull moments, no dead air.... simply terrific.

and also im super proud with the Philippines exhibition...*clap clap clap* sobrang ganda... i think we could win this WPO if we are one of the contending countries :) talagang pinaghandaan ng pinas ang firework display :) feeling ko nga dun napunta yung taxes ko eh, haha. ( kaya pala sobrang taas ng tax ko, LOL ) :P

UK won, and China is the People's Choice Award... sorry jhames, haha.

some people are just so mean and so insensitive... i don't know why. they say things they don't even think of... as if they are that perfect and so good. Im not washing my hands here, i admit i had been mean to other people too but that was because they pushed me to be mean to them...

i love to joke, to tease and to pick but i see to it that i don't annoy people and don't hit the wrong button... i know my limitations and as much as possible i try to put my self on their shoes.

griffin and phoenix

last wednesday i watched the movie griffin and phoenix at ATC. I think it has an older version way back 1976 (well wala pa ako nyan, hehe). Its a funny love story about two people facing obstacle in life that might stand between them and a last chance of love. Griffin (Dermot Mulroney) is dying of cancer and Phoenix (Amanda Peet) is suffering from terminal leukemia. Deciding to live their last months to the fullest, they indulge in outrageous, childish public behavior and vent their anger at their conditions full-force, knowing full well that they won't have to answer for their silliness or rage. They also fall in love with each other. The only proviso to their relationship is that Griffin must promise not to visit Phoenix in her final days, and vice versa. But at the end they decided to hold on until the last day for their lives.

Its a good movie. Cute and touching.

was able to watched the 2nd pyro olympics and definitely it goes to USA. They had a very good fireworks display, especially the grande finale its was really really amazing sabi nga ni anton ng our awesome planet tipong 4th of july ang fireworks display :)

at first hinde naman alam kung san ba maganda mag-park because definitely we would not really go inside MOA, because of the traffic, so without knowing where to park conviniently, we took-out our dinner from kenny roger's and then drive thru macapagal avenue to decide where to park...

we opted first at the seaside because we heard it got a good view, but unfortunately there's no available slot so we went to the blue wave and there, we decided na dun na magpark and waited for an hour before the show start... ang nakakatawa we bought our dinner from KR yung pala sa bluewave din ang bagsak namin..

we were arguing if we were going to walk into the MOA and buy ticket for the pyro, but we don't want to waste energy to walk because i have work pa that night so dun na lang kami sa parking area ng blue wave nag-stay which is a good decision and good place na din :) there are alot of children that night and they are all happy seeing the fireworks.. they clap and continously says WOW... syempre pati ako nakiki-clap at nakiki-wow hehe..

too bad.. i didn't seen the 1st day of pyro olympics :( i was at the office from 9pm the other night and stayed until 3pm the next day... i don't have any choice :( but its ok, ther are still 5 days to go :) hay... life nga naman....

2nd world pyro olympics

Last year i have witnessed the 1st World Pyro Olympics that has been held in Esplanade, in the Bay City Central Business Park, Pasay City, Philippines.

It was amazing! The show are truly great! and Australia being the 1st World Pyro Olympics Champion.

This year i have learned from anton of our awesome planet that there would be a 2nd World Pyro Olympics which will be held at Esplanade again (near MOA). You can buy tickets which costs from 100 pesos (General Viewing Area), 500 pesos (Special Viewing Area), and 1,250 pesos (Prime Viewing Area). The Special Viewing Area and the Prime Viewing Area are new additions this year, to ensure guaranteed seating and a more relaxed experience.

Im pretty excited about it.... :)

Nine (9) countries will be vying for the title of the Champion of the 2nd World Pyro Olympics. Two (2) countries will fire during each of the first four days while the ninth participant is set to fire on the final evening of the event.

As the host of the event, the Philippines shall perform a fireworks display on the last night to complete the 10-country performance and to close the competition. Awards, such as the People’s Choice are to be given out after the exhibition, with the crowning of the World Pyro Olympics Champion ending the event.

happy new year!! hay im really hoping this would be a great year not only for me but for everyone.. for philippines, for my family, for work, for friends, for ka-blogs :)

we had so much fun during new year's eve... dami fireworks hehehe... kaya lang susme as u grow old pala no nababwasan yung tapang mo pagdatin g sa mga paputok.. susme dati ang lakas-lakas ng loob ko sa mga ganyan, as in ako pa yung nagsisindi ng five star hehehe pero ngayon lusis na lang at roman candle ang pinagkakaabalahan ko parang kinakabahan pa ako.. weird no hehehe...

last jan. 1 nakakapanibago wala kaming bisita except sa sister ko with her husband ang yung niece namin, usually kasi jan.1 ang laklak day sa bahay hehehe.. but this year medyo tahimik, siguro mga puyat sila kaya hinde nakapunta sa bahay hehehe.. kaya yun kami-kami na lang ang nag-inuman sa bahay.. mama ko, papa ko, si utol at ako :P pamilyang tomador ba LOL.. kapag new year lang :)

first day ko sa work for this year.. sabay inaantok ako waaaaaaaaa... bitin ang bakasyon :( hay.. work work work, para may pera ako ngayon 2007 hehehe...

this is my last day of work this year, kaya masaya ako hehehehe kasi makakatulog ako ng mahaba hehehe... kaya lang ang bonus before the year ends, meron akong sipon.. waaaaaaaaaaa pero hinde lang basta sipon may tonsilitis pa yata ako :( sobrang sakit ng lalamunan.. tapos yung sipon ko ang sakit pa sa ulo waaaaaaaaaa... at may kasama pang ubo.. well wish ko lang gumaling ako bago ang putukan hehehe kasi kawawa naman ako kapag nagkataon hinde ako makaka-enjoy sa pagsindi nga mga binili kong fountains at lusis (tama ba spelling ko?!) at kuwitis :D

hay... basta masaya ako sa pagpasok na taon... new year, new hopes, new dreams, new craziness hehe

before the year ends i have think of my yearly new year's resolution and wishes :D and hopefully ma-fulfill ko yung mga nasa mahiwagang list ko hehehe... yearly na lang ako may wishes at new year's resolution and lagi na lang nasusunod ko lang yun for 1st quarter of the year sa mga susunod wala na... pero this time promise ko sa sarili i need to live by it, naks! :P

my new year's resolution :

- diet ( as in sobrang kailangan ko talaga to, lol )
- have more patience on the people around
- be more considerate but be strict on policies
- work out, work out, work out ( prerefable sa boxing gym )
- be punctual ( isinusumpa na ako ng mga kaibigan ko sa pagiging late ko )

my wish list :

- new computer
- iPod kahit 30G lang :D
- makapag-enroll sa boxing hehe
- bday party para sa nephew ko :D

last december 17, we had our company xmas party held at the ayala alabang countyy club. it was indeed full of fun and childish grin :D i am one the emcee for the night and honestly i really don't like doing it...
1) i can't seem to enjoy the food hehe,
2) i feel nervous kasi naman 1000 ang attendees susme.
3) hinde ako maka-chika sa mga ibang friends during party kasi ako'y busy sa stage waaaaaaaaa
4) hinde din ako makadami ng pics LOL
5) hinde ko talaga ma-enjoy promise,
sabi ko nga sa committe, please spare me this year, wag na muna ako.. madami namang iba dyan eh, sabi ko nga kahit sa registration na lang ako ilagay ok lang po, tatanggapin ko pa ng buong puso :D... well but anyway, wala naman ako magagawa, kaya ayun emcee-emceehan na naman ang drama ko haha.. but i had enjoyed the party anyway :D tumatakas ako sa stage para makapag table hopping hehehe...

every year we always have this custome party... as in kinakarir namin ang xmas party hehehe, we always come up with a theme and dapat naka-custome talaga.. for the last 6 years na nagpaparty kami here eto ang mga naging custome namin :

whew... been very busy for weeks.. hay nakakamis magblog :) anyways im here to post the pics of my last trip to corrigedor :) well they are not good pics but enough to check out :)

i had a really great time at the island, and enjoyed our overnight stay.

we arrived at the island on Nov. 25, Saturday at 9:45 via sun cruises from CCP Bay Terminal.

Corregidor is a small rocky island in the Philippines about 48 kilometers west of Manila which is stragetically located at the entrance of Manila Bay. This island fortress stands as a memorial for the courage, valor, and heroism of its Filipino and American defenders who bravely held their ground against the overwhelming number of invading Japanese forces during World War II.

Also known as "the Rock," it was a key bastion of the Allies during the war. When the Japanese invaded the Philippines in December 1941, the military force under the command of Gen. Douglas MacArthur carried out a delaying action at Bataan. Corregidor became the headquarters of the Allied forces and also the seat of the Philippine Commonwealth government. It was from Corregidor that Philippine President Manuel Quezon and General MacArthur left for Australia in February 1942, leaving behind Lt. Gen. Jonathan M. Wainwright in command. ( check also the brief history )

The first stop of the tour was at the Lorcha Dock, where you could find Gen. Douglas McArthur statue.

Lorcha Dock - ( it was at this dock where on March 11, 1942, Gen. Douglas MacArthur boarded PT (torpedo) Boat 41 under the command of Navy Lt. John Bulkeley which took him to the Bogo dock of the Del Monte Pineapple Canning plant in Misamis Oriental where he later proceeded to Australia by aircraft. Only the ruins of the dock could now be seen aside from rusted tracks of an old railway system which connected Lorcha Dock with Malinta Tunnel. This rail transportation not only brought personnel to different parts of the island but it also allowed the quick and efficient transport of ordnance and war materials from this dock to the tunnel. )

we passed by this chapel named San Jose Chapel ( this chapel was reconstructed at its former location and based on its original architectural and structural design. During the pre-war days, religious services were conducted in this chapel for the military personnel in the garrison as well as for their families. ) Today there were no regular sunday masses being held at the said chapel according to our tour guide.

the malinta tunnel is one of tourist attration in corrigedor, during day tour you can witnessed a sound and light show which they offer for P150php. Inside the tunnel there are some laterals that contains figures which represent what happened during the war toghether with a vioce over.

after the malinta tunnel trip we headed for the corregidor inn to eat lunch, this was a great relief to us because we haven't check-in our things yet and the weather is too hot that i badly wanted to wash my face and freshen up and to eat :) and while we were eating three great musikeros serenade us which added a good ambience :) and we are fascinated with their voices :)

after lunch, we went again on the tour, and this time we visited the building ruins, guns, bullet holes, bullet, museum, lighthouses and cannons...

these were the buildings occupied by the souldiers, nothing has been touched on these buildings after the WWII, you can't go near some of the buildings beause some of them are weark that causes the falling debris.. super tingin ang ginagawa ko dyan sa mga building na yan feeling ko kasi may magpapakitang multo hehehe..

im super excited with the Thanksgiving Day approaching :) kasi this would mean RELAXATION and some L A M Y E R D A !!!! :P hahahaha..

here in our office, Thanksgiving Day in US is the most awaited holiday we looked forward to because of the long weekend... and basically we do plan gimik ahead.

Sabik kami sa US holiday :) kasi this is the only time na medyo na-free-free up kami dito sa office. We do not observe Philippine Holiday kasi our clients are US based, and this day is the longest US holiday kaya fiesta ang feeling :) hehehehe.

every year we see to it na may pinupuntahan kaming lugar to relax and unwind. last year we went to villa escudero, this year we will be going to corregidor... yehey!! :)

im staying 14-16 hrs at work. this is not good. but i can't just walk away. i need this work.. ( eh ano pa nirereklamo mo!!?!?) hmmmm... wala lang.. gusto ko lang i-blog na sobrang busy talaga ako... hehehe. hay nababaliw na ata ako sa sobrang pressure at stress :(

im really wishing i'll have some good vacation this coming thanksgiving day.. im crossing my fingers. hay.

drawing.

dati ang pagkakaalam ko lang sa salitang "drawing" is like sketching or painting. but nowadays the word drawing also meant "indyan" or if someone had stand on a certain plans or gimmick.

diba nakakainis kapag na-drawing ka?!?!?!... last monday na-drawing na naman ako for the nth time! grrr.....

he asked if i would like to join him and his boss and his boss' date for some little night out on ratsky, malate. i asked him do you have some money pa ba? kasi we are both broke at this moment.. too many gastos.. geezzz. and then he told, its ok i have some. so i said OK.

so ganda ng plan, after he picked me up from work at 3pm, hatid nya me sa bahay ng tita ko (that's where i live) and then told me na he would picked me up again at 7pm, he just need to go back in his office because he need to do some paper works.

so i rested for a while, then i informed my tita na i have a date.

at 6pm i prepared my clothes, i changed my bag, and had some shower and then get dressed. it was almost 7pm and i was combing my hair when my cp beeped.. so i thought maybe its him texting me "malapit na me ready ka na ba?" ( kasi he knows how super late and how so bagal kung kumilos)... i ignored it since im done na and just waiting for him, when i did not replied back soon he called na.. that's when i took my cp and answered his call.. just to let me know that it has been cancelled kasi his boss had changed plans... gad!

i was there waiting, fully dressed. and sasabihin sa akin cancelled?!?!?...

i was really MAD at that time at talagang naiiyak ako sa sama ng loob... i did not feel mad because it has been cancelled.. i felt mad becauase they did not informed or he did not informed me beforehand... at least sana man lang hinde na ako nag-effort na mag-prepare... i was mad because for the NTH time na-drawing na naman ako.

he just don't have any idea how i really looked that night.. everyone in the house is was like.. uh oh! war na to!

i don't care if seems mababaw to him pero for me that was really a BIG DEAL.

and so, after hearing his call, i put down the phone na and never answered his text and calls for the whole night...

i had planned not to take any calls from him the following day.. kaya lang nakalusot sa guard, nai-connect sa landline phone ko sa office... wala na ako nagawa kinausap ko na cya and had told him how frustrated and disappointed i was.

and so i had forgiven him, actually its not his all fault naman talaga. eh mabaet ako kaya pinatawad ko na din cya :)

at wish ko lang hinde na muna ulet ako ma-drawing until the end of year :) .... wish ko lang.

as a kid i've always wanted to see a clown, kasi parang ang cute nila seeing them on tv or movies, but then when i got the chance to see a clown i did not felt happy, i even said to myself "hinde naman pala masaya makakita ng clown".. and from there on, i don't want and don't like to go near them and see their faces...

i could bear seeing them from a distance but then sobrang kaba na yung nararamdaman ko nun...i don't know why. feeling ko nga dati ang weird ko, kasi parang yung mga friends ko they like clowns.. and so i thought i could out-grow this feeling.. but then i was wrong..

during college days, my friends would teased me "ano ka ba, ang tanda mo na no takot ka pa sa clown." eh sa takot ako eh anong magagawa nyo.

would you believe, even with ronald mcdonald i can't bear being near him.. promise. one time, a new mcdonald store was opened near our university, little did i know, during that merienda time when we were there nandun si ronald the mascot, i was really feeling nervous and tense seeing him, kasi he's table hopping that time. i did not finished what i was eating and go out from the store and just waited my friends outside...

it was december, i was working na that time, and we went out for lunch, and then there's a new amusement park opened near our office site, and so clowns and dolls-like girls went outside to give brochures, they were walking on the street, into vehicles and into every person they could see.. when i seen them coming toward us, i was kinda avoiding them na, and then one of colleague was pointing at me because they know how i am afraid of clowns, and when i thought he's going to me, i crossed the street.. d bale na mabangga ako... and so i heard the clown saying hesitantly with understanding "ayaw nya eh, takot cya sa clown" .. and i was like thinking to myself, alam din pala nila na may takot sa kanila na kagaya ko. :(

some of my friends would comment, "hay naku, kawawa naman magiging anak mo, hinde makakaranas ng clown sa party!" and i was like oo nga no.. then i would replied back "hay, hayaan mo na, baka kapag nagka-anak ako hinde na uso ang clown!" :P

and when im invited in a children's party my first question would always be "meron bang clowns?"

i really don't know why and where this fear coming from, i haven't had any bad encounter with clowns but then i felt this way towards them..

and then i searched on the internet what is the term for fear of clowns... COULROPHOBIA.

and i realized hinde pala ako nag-iisa, madami rin pala kaming takot sa clown. pero ang nawi-weirduhan pa din ako, kaya lang wala naman ako magagawa, ayaw ko talaga sa clown.

last thursday, i wanted to go home early because im feeling really low and bored at work, unfortunately i can't just run on the door and press the elevator down to the ground floor because we had alot of things to do and too many issues need to be addressed with the staff.. i was so very stressed out.

my mind is flying somewhere else and i keep on staring on my comp screen, i can't do any work, i feel very stucked and i got a very low energy. i keep on figuring what's wrong with me hay.. for almost a week now i've been coming to work earlier than my usual time hay naninibago siguro hehehe :P

hay i went to our canteen bought a coke in can thinking that would help lift my mood :)

pizza! pizza!.. hehehe last friday we had a pizza night here at the office, our clients who were scheduled to leave that morning treated us with lots of pizza :) their simple way of showing they appreciate the effort and the hardwork we are doing for them :).

and so, the pizza ravaging begin! hehehe.. we had the 18" manhattan meatlovers and new york finest of yellowcab.. yummy!

i've got 2 1/2 slices sprinkled with chili flakes hahaha.. sobrang takaw ko :P

i love movies. i watched whatever appeals good to me, im not into too much action though, i hate bloody movies, i can't really bear it. i love simple stories, romance-comedy, light drama genre. i go for local and foreign films. minsan kahit corny go pa din ako hehehe.

last saturday, i had the chance to watch my ultimate soulmate LOL. no other than ASTHON KUTCHER! hehehe.. im such a fanatic. it felt so cool watching him again with his movie. The Guardian is a good movie, well for me :) im not much of a critic moviegoer specially on ashton hehe, i had fun watching it. at tunay na ako'y nabighani na naman haha.. :P

hay asthon, kelan ka ba magiging akin?? i can't wait! hehehe :P

yesterday i had a nice girl bonding with my friends. i haven't seen them for a while and haven't heard so much from them. and of course since kasing adik ko sila sa movie we decided to watch a movie. the very horrible TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. grabe tong movie na to, i haven't watched the 2003 movie so i never expected na ganito ka brutal yung movie. it was so scary. i never did watched kasi as in nakatakip ang mga mata ko at i can't even stand the sounds im hearing.. i really wanted to get out of the movie house, nahihiya lang ako sa mga friends ko kasi pinagtatawanan na nila ako, anyway sila din naman nakatakip ang mata haha, sobrang ayaw ko na tapusin. its just too much of a violence. too bloody. and very yikes.... cannibalism ulk! i almost throw up. nagsisi tuloy ako na yun ang pinanood namin, sana pala TILL I MET YOU na lang ni robin at regine hehehe.. :P mapapa-aww pa ako LOL :P

and last night it keeps playing on my head. hinde tuloy ako makatulog waaaaaaaaaa lintek na chainsaw yan. :(

but nonetheless, i had a great time with my friends :) its just so nice to see them again.

last saturday was the final competition for our annually sport festival, this year i did not participated in any events and im not even one of the marshalls because most of my work schedules are all on nights shifts during the entire sport festival weeks. and so i did not witnessed any events *sigh* plus the fact that our group is too busy catching with our backlogs, so this year, no sportfest for us, hopefully next year would be different.

there are 4 majors groups that are competiting for our sportfest, it think i had mentioned on some of my blog entries about it. our opponents group are the red phoenix, green dragon and blue sharks (astig ng mga dating no!)... and then our group is named after yellow tarsiers! ( hahaha, seems funny, the other 3 groups puro astig pagdating sa amin tarsier hahaha)... nonetheless we are on second rank on overall tally. it was the red phoenix who won with just 4pts ahead of us *sayang* di bale we will strive harder next year :)

i purchased new pair of eyes err.. new glasses last week :) actually it was just an accidental purchased, we are at the mall with my officemate when we passed by at a optical shop, and we are just like checking out some cool eye glasses frames and had no intention of buying a new pair, swerte because the store are offering as much as 50% off, imagine hehehe kaya go and buy a new pair. my grade has been higher na this year from my last 300/250 it is now 450/350... tsk tsk tsk... baka mabulag na ako nito :P

i didn't realized i needed indeed a new pair of glasses maybe that explains why i had some terrible headaches the past few weeks. well im just glad i had new glasses now :)

college friends and little bumbum

last saturday i met up with college friends, actually it was not planned, i was supposed to pick up my new eye glasses and was in total hurry because the mall might be close before i ever get there. and then my friend called me, they were bugging about it, seeing once in a while and have a good time, unfortunately i still have work that night and i can't afford to be absent or else i'll lose my job hehehe, no one is present that night, no manager, no other supervisor, so i really need to be on work, but my friends tricked me, they told me that we're just going to have dinner and medyo nakunsencya ako because they told me that emy is leaving the next week, she's just here for a short vacation from her work in qatar.

when i got there i learned that emy is leaving the next month, sly ladies... but i had fun anyway, it was unending updating with each others lives :) i didn't realized how i missed them until last saturday night.

i had so much fun, they drink some san mig, i didn't dare hehehe because i really need to report for work and plus the fact i don't drink beer, ginebra kasi ang katapat ko hahaha...

i went to work at 12:45am, so late, but its ok than never showing up, i had to call the guard on duty na abangan ako sa kanto because im really afraid kasi nga very late na and waaaaaaaa... i really hate walking alone with all the trees and wind blowing, i just can't bear it...

buti na lang mabaet si manong guard hehehe kung hinde na-heart attack na ako sa takot hehehe.

i was so happy because finally i got a checking account, hehehe, i badly needed it for my personal loan that has been approved since last week, but i need to have a checking account first before i could get the proceeds. well luckliy yummskie helped me to get it in just 1hr, viola i got it! :)

and so after getting it, we headed for the other bank to get my ever badly needed personal loan, actually its for my sister, she just used my credentials and she was bugging me for weeks on that. hopefully she would be dutiful enough to pay her debt or else i would really smack her together with her husband :P

and as reward for my yummskie to all the istorbo i made, i treated him in a dinner. we went to hula-hula seafoods and barbecue in westgate alabang. its a mxture of hawaiin, japanese, vietnamese food. but all in all the food are awesome, tastes good and the presentation is cute :) i love their crab maritess (olive oil and lots lots of garlic.. yumyum) and the black rice is really a high five :)

last monday i was so excited on the thought that we are going to watch a 3D movie at the IMAX theater at the MOA (mall of asia). the film is entitled t-rex. it was supposed to be may first IMAX movie :) kaya lang malas ata ako eh, sobrang excited ko yun wala pa lang schedule yung t-rex ng 5pm, it was 2pm pala and 8:30pm, my bf just assumed the 5pm sked, *sigh*, we cannot afford to watch at 8:30pm becauase i need to be at the office ( alabang ) before 10pm. sigh.

and so bye bye Imax ang drama ko, i was kinda not in the mood to watch na, but then since we are there na we just watch STEP UP, its a nice movie, i love their soundtrack and im hunting it now hehehe.

after watching the movie, i asked bf to passed by on the goldilocks because i wanted to buy ONE WATER baller band. i have watched the abs-cbn's concert supporting the la mesa dam and no to the housing project that needs to build near the dam. and so sabi ko bibili talaga ako ng baller to show support. i bougth two, tig-isa kami ni yummskie, at talagang pinilit ko cya na isuot yun hehe (pressure ito!) hehehe. anyway cute naman eh. :)

last week, wednesday i was watching tv that night and there were flash report that classes are suspended the next day because a typhoon is approaching manila and that this one would be one of the great storm we had in years, hearing the news i was like uh oh, PAG-ASA is forecasting again, ( you can't blame me, as a student i have some experiences with PAG-ASA's not so good weather forecast, i once remembered the classes has been cancelled due to typhoon but then it was extremely hot that day, i don't have to mention the others i guess :P ).

when i woke up thursday morning, i realized we had some serious storm on our way, the same storm we have in months, lots of rain of course.

when i was about leave the house i've learned that it was signal no.3 and i realized i need to get cab or else i'll be getting at the office just like a soaking sponge dish. Umbrella would be no use given the wind that seems to blow you away too.

actually i have these plan on not reporting for work that day, with that kind of weather its always seems to drag you back on your bed, but then i had to literally pulled up myself to get ready for work unless i have the intention of being one on the list of growing unemployed here in the country. The reason is that we are expecting a visitor from US that day, and by hook or by crook i need to be there at the office.

i was having an early lunch at our cafeteria with some of the officemates and was starled to see up rooted tress from a nearby park. the cafeteria is located at the 3rd floor of the building and the all glass structure of the building gave us a great view of what is really happening outside.

trees are being uprooted one by one, signage are falling, tin roof is flying everywhere from a nearby building, and hopefully no one got hurt because it seemed to be like a paper being flown at other side of the street. i can't believe it my eyes, i under estimated milenyo.

it just took nearly 3-4 hours as milenyo passed by but greatly hit metro manila. many people died. a lot of things had been damaged. and most of all, he put luzon on a blackout and no water.

we have lived 3 days and 2 nights primitively. struggling to find some water to drink at least. candles and bottled water are all sold out. atm machines are all offline. some gas stations are beimg manually opeated and i have a seen a great pile of cars at any open gas station.

im glad we had suvived the storm but sorry to hear some people's death. It is a one hell of a experience.

as of the moment im glad that the electricity had gone back, though some part of the metro stil got no luck. we are now slowly going back to our normal lives... but i heard there's another typhoon coming.. named NENE. uh no, not again.

last thursday we went to cavite to pay visit on one of our co-employee on her father's interment. And on our way, i have seen this store with a name that sounds very interesting.. :P

and of course, since we are on the bacoor cavite already we went to the digman halo-halo special. it's my first time to taste their infamous halo-halo which had been featured on some of our local tv shows. i have once heard it from my father. the halo-halo taste so good! no wonder many people hunt this simple halo-halo house (where the digman halo-halo originate). plus the empanada taste delicious too!

also tahong chips (yes! tahong) caught our attention. looks good but taste awful! i almost throw it up. yikes. don't try it unless u are fond of malalangsa food.

weekends and BIG headache

my weekend was fine.. last sunday was my brother's bday, konting kain and pansit ok na hehehe... i spent my whole sunday sleeping.. as in.. i was kinda exhausted by the last week as in super pagod.. mentally, physically, financially hehehe.. lahat na ng "lly" lol. i haven't had so much time bonding with bumbum... kasi lagi din cya tulog hahaha.. paano naman kasi 3rd shift din yung batang yun...

and finally im on the morning shift na this week.. yahoo!!! sa wakas makakapag-tv marathon na naman ako lol.. wish ko lang makakauwi me ng maaga from office.

monday:
i've got a good news and bad news..

bad news...waaaaaaaaaaaaaa... i've got a very bad headache! shocks! i woke early because i need to be at the office at least 8am (not later) and yet im really having second thoughts if i would really report for work... hay kung pwede lang sana hinde ako pumasok... but then i still went to the office, late nga lang around 9:30am.

i haven't able to watch our basketball team compete with the blue team.. ( we are yellow team ).. our annual sport festival has started and yet i haven't seen any of the events.sigh.

i was really about to watch the game, unfortunately i can't bear my headache, its just too much. and buti na lang pala i didn't watch na din, we lost.. waaaaaa how sad, we are on just praying that they will do good on the rematch with the red team *crossing my fingers*

good news naman... my personal loan has been approved.. yahoo!! :) i really need it badly as well as my sister hehe. i really need to talk to my sister and her husband that they really need to pay on time, or else the bank will sue me hehehe.

good news ulet... i went home early.. spent some time with yummskie :) tapos tinulugan ko cya kasi masakit talaga ang ulo ko hehe.

tuesday:
still have this bad headache.. argh. its killing me! i took 500mg mefenamic acid and still did not work.. i don't know what to do na talaga.. feeling ko may cancer na ako waaaaaaaaaa.. ( na sana naman eh wala, exag ko lang )

i have read on one of the blog entry i had passed by, that uttering "bless me" would such be a good help or powerfull or could be just coincidence too.. well for me it goes like this..

because of the terrible headache right after i went down from a trike on my way to office i uttered that i could cross the street easily and that there is a jeep waiting across and said "bless me".. and just like what o have wished i crossed the street easily and the jeep is waiting for me... oh diba.

and then, i wished for the jeep to stop exatly on the street going to our office building.. and said "bless me"... and yes it did stop there. grabe na to, i was liked gosh its working with me too?!?!?!

and while walking, i checked my watch, 8:55, sana the elevator is at the ground level so i won't be late at 9am "bless me" ( kasi kapag ganung time all the elevators are really busy ).. and then upon arriving at the grould level i was excited to check if the elevator is ready at the ground floor... and you know what???? its right there.. as if waiting for me... hay.. sobrang "bless me!!"

weird. pero nakakaaliw :)

despite the headache i went home late around 9pm and got home 10pm.

hay.. life. i hope i would get better tomorrow.

9. cross stitch ( patterns, treads, needles, cloth, anything that has something to do with that hobby... i just love that. )

8. talk. talk. talk ( not necessarily tsimisan blues, lol... but good quality talk, opinions, sharing ideas, point of views, silly thinkings, weird topics... just about anything and everything )

7. good sleep ( its been hard to get good sleep these days, is it like your sleeping and yet you feel so very tired.. i missed waking up with an instant smile of having a good sleep.sigh )

6. good book / mags / novels ( i just love to read... anything, and right now im trying to explore other reading materials *not the censored ones, lol*.. im reading filipino authors who writes in tagalog.. and i recommend bob ong books.. real good. )

5. movies together with pop-corns and nachos :). ( i just love it... once one a week or twice a week if time permits. )

4. playing with my pamangkins. ( such a bliss.. super! )

3. internet surfing and blog hopping. ( im currently addicted to it ).

turtles and birthday

after a month of thinking of cleaning my aquariumn, finally nalinis ko din cya last friday morning, because im afraid that when im come back on monday morning they could be dead because of the water pollution inside the aquarium hahaha.

so right now i have two turtles, they are my ever first pets :) . they are named ping and pong. they are very matakaw, as in... and they like to see people, because they always thought na if people are around, they will be feed na hehehe.

actually they were originally 4, yun nga lang weakest link yung dalawa, maagang kinuha ni lord. lol.

they are big now. when i bought them they were very tiny, i think just 1 1/2 inches. pero ngayon palm size na.

i just love them.. lalo na kapag they are playing on the water. :)

on the other hand, yummy's currently pets are lovebirds, he's done with the dogs hehehe.. mga ibon naman ang trip nya.. siguro sa susunod crocodiles naman. lol. he told me he would give me a pair of lovebirds, but im not into bird owning right now, i don't know how to takecare of them kasi, but then sabi ko kapag nag-alaga ako ng bird gusto ko parrot.. tuturuan ko magsalita,... tuturuan ko ng "morning jhenny and sexy mo!" hahahaha. ( at dapat talaga pati ibon turuan magsinungaling.. haha) :p

last sunday was my sister's bday... she and her husband and bambam went to our house to visit and para mag-blowout hehe. some of our cousins dropped by too and naki-kulet sa amin, while mom and aunt are busy, laklak mode lol. :p

as usual nag-concert na naman ang mga kapatid and cousins ko, but me was flat tired asleep... im on the third shift kaya at 3pm bagsak na ako.. as in wala na me pakialam sa paligid ko, i need my sleep.. zzzzz..zzzz..zzzzz

i had an ok week, extended on the night shift.. so i guess more borlog days for me... waaaaaaaaa.. but its ok, i think i enjoy night shifts better, me and yummy are always together ( hatid syempre lol )... then less pressure from the bossing.. kahit na dami clients sa gabi i could handle them naman..

but i have to sacrifice my tv marathon at night :( hay.. kaka-miss manood din.

still on USAPANGPINOY. yesterday i wrote that it is down for some reasons, and upon logging here are the office someone IM me and said that it is backonline. When i checked it later today i found out that there will be a change of ownership in UP. Mr. explorer would be giving it to his friend. He assures everyone that his friend is as kind hearted as he is and have a wide knowledge on websites. ( kasing goodlooking din kaya?? hehehe )... I was shocked and feel sad about it.

Mr. explorer or master ( as we call him ) or gangho ( on chatroom ) is one of the great personalities i have met on the internet. He is unselfish, funny, generous, has a lot of patience of some pasaway member of UP fam plus the fact he has a good singing voice ( wooohooo!!! ). I guess he has some other plans that is why he is giving up his ownership. Im hoping that everything is fine with him and that he coped up with whatever plans he has right now.

Surely he will be missed on the site. And ma-miss ko yung mga jamming sa UP na kasama cya ( mr. e's acoustic version.. san ka pa ). UP is like a family to me na, as I've said on my last blog, i gained friends here, we shared true emotions and sentiments, mga kalokohan, kasiyahan at minsan mga diskusyon.

I hope the incoming owner would be like him... Funny and very down to earth despite on what he have done.

USAPANGPINOY. i have been part of this cool website for 1 year and 2 months now. have gained friends, mga kaasaran and kalokohan at mga kabaliktaktakan... it got some cool stuff : forums, chatrooms, radio, gallery, news, featured writers, blogs...today when i about to visit the site i was shocked by the response i got upon clicking the site on mg fave list... "THIS WEBSITE NO LONGER EXISTS."... as in.. what?!?!!? not existing anymore?? unang naisip ko agad, "shocks na-detect na naman ata ako ng mga tech.." or "naka-blocked na ba??" and then i found out na lahat pala ndi nakakapasok sa site.. well right now all UPians question is "WHAT HAPPENED?" "WHAT'S GOING ON?"... but no one could give an answer...

well after a much thought on UP, im guessing its down for a moment only.. maybe something new is coming up pretty soon.

i just hope it will be fixed soon. many pinoys around the globe are enjoying the site. for some its their way to decrease their homesickness, to do something when you're bored to death at home and at work.lol.

the people behind USAPANGPINOY are really excellent. unselfish and very generous. and i truely appreciate them.

and finally, after bugging yummy for a couple of times, we headed to watch a movie last monday, im a good bugger afterall hehehe.. we watched "the wicker man" starring nicholas cage. actually a friend of him did tell him that it is not a good movie, and since im an avid nicholas cage fan ( since national trearuse lang hehehe ) we watched pa din.

hmmm the movies was kinda good for me... hay naku ndi ako masyadong critic eh basta nag-enjoy ako ok na sa akin yun although i agree on the reviews regarding the bear suit hehehe.... and medyo disappointed lang me sa ending.

later that night, i learned that it is a remake movie pala, the orig was released back 1973 ( which is ndi pa ako tao nun hehehe ).

last monday was spent so good... i had a bonding with yummy. we watched a local movie, You Are The One... the movie was ok, not so good but its ok. Pakilig moments lang talaga si toni and sam, teenager ang dating, pero ok naman kasi they look good together and toni is super nakaka-aliw talaga... plus sexy..hehehe...

and then after movie we went to pampered ourselves with facial treatment. sarap ng feeling... its like i haven't had facial treatment for ages.. duh!

and while waiting for 20 minutes for the purple cream treatment we do some photo session hehehe.. mga adik sa pix eh.. lol.

and after that we went for a dinner at KFC.. yey!!! grabe last week ko pa kasi gustong kumain sa KFC, parang suddenly nag-crave ako sa spicy hot chicken nila.. plus mashed potatoes! yum yum!!! hehehe...

tapos went straight home na. konting bonding sa harap ng tv din uwi na cya... im kinda feeling sad kasi na mi-miss ko si bumbum :-( .... that's why i asked him a couple more minutes pa to stay sa house.

penshoppe rocks araneta!

it was penshoppe's 20th anniversary and as part of their celebration they are giving out free concert tickets depending on how much you have availed on their clothing products.

my cousin is really a big band fan... and knowing i like pinoy bands too she bug me to go with her on the penshoppe denimlab rockfest ( music and fashion for the love of denim ) this was held at the big dome araneta coliseum last sept. 01.

it was indeed a lot of fun and music and clapping and growling and shouting and cheering hehehe.. its was really really FUN.

20 bands are there plus echo rosales and heart evangelista... yey!

among the 20 bands are the hot ones right now... starting with kamikazee ( parang love ko na tong bandang to hehehe ) syempre pa ndi pwedeng walang "narda" and parokya ni edgar, hay papable talaga si chito who sang buloy, mang jose and the order taker..

trivia: parokya ni edgar and kamikazee band are real good friends, in fact the song "narda" was written by chito miranda, and becauase chito somehow felt that his voice doesn't fit with the song, he gave it to Jay Contreras ( Kamikazee's vocalist )... and then presto.. a big hit for the kamikazee with "narda".

back to araneta rockfest... 6 cycle mind sang very known songs "sandalan", "i" and "sige" at may bonus pa nalaglag sa stage yung vocalist hehehe... pero daming palakpak when they were on stage galeng kasi eh and they have really good songs... alive na alive and araneta!

imago with their lovely vocalist aia and songs "tara lets, tara-tara-tara lets!" "akap" ... then mojofly danda ni lougee... pati yung drummer papable hehehe, araneta was making some noise kapag focus yung papa na drummer..

among the bands that the crowd go crazy talaga were...

hale ( loveu papa champ! hehehe ) sang their new hit blue sky ( new album ) ang kahit pa....

sandwich in their "sugod mga kapatid. tayo ng magsama-sama, iwagayway na ang bandera, rock and roll hanggang umaga"... *sabay headbang at talon* hehehe....

sugarfree with "tulog na mahal ko..." and "hari ng sablay".....

itchyworms with their latest single "beer light" ( ganda nyan promise ) and "akin ka na lang" iingatan ko ang puso, akin ka na lang wala ng hihigit pa sayo.... ( the best! )

pupil ( si papa ely buendia naman ) with "nasaan ka?".. mahahanap din kita, mahahanap din kita... kung may langit nga ba...

sponglecola was not so good that night... kakainis si yael eh, OA ang performance puro growl pa, ndi naman bagay sa kanya...

other bands that were present that night were mayonaise, protein shake, juana, pedicab, kala, callalily, up dharma down, dicta license.

and of course last but not the least... tadaaaaaaa.... BAMBOO!! sobra, stading obation at talagang dagundong ang buong araneta..... syempre ndi mawawala ang "hoy!! pinoy ako, buo aking loob may agimat ang dugo.. hoy!! pinoy ako, may agimat ang dugo ko... ".... and the very famous.... "halleluiah"...

sabay rampa sina echo at heart... at ang nakakagulat.. nadapa si heart... everybody was in shocked, walang maka-react and to make it worst, 2 times cyang nadapa... sakpla diba. sabay takbo si papa echo para alalayan si mama heart... pero professional talaga si heart, kahit medyo ika na sa paglakad.. rampa pa din and she was welcomed with loud of applause during her ramp on the catwalk ...

well accident really happens sometime, i think there something wrong with the stage, siguro medyo madulas or could be ndi nya ma-balance yung wings nya ( angel look kasi ) and she is wearing 6 inches high heel...

all in all, it went well... minus the mishap the event was very successful and very fun!

way to go penshoppe! and rock on! ;-)

this week has been my sleepiest week ever!!! i feel like i wanted to bring my own bed here in the office... i haven't yet got enough sleep... which is i really badly needed to be able to work better... zzzzzZZZZZzz.... zzZZZZZzzzz... zzzzzZZZZZZzzzzz

ang monday bow!

i had a very enjoable and tiring monday.. as in!!!

i woke up at 3am in the morning because bumbum is playing and everybody is still asleep, see? 3rd shift cya eh hehehe... so yun nagkargahan kami and I just wait for my mama to wake up at 4am... until then super laro muna kami ni cutie pamangkin.

at 5am i kissed bumbum byebye, my mom headed on the market with my brother and then me i go home on my tita.

when i got home, i ate breakfast and fixed my room and check some stuff on my room and then i gathered all my books that don't have plastic cover yet, and yun binalutan ko silang lahat... and after that i got busy between reading books and watching tv.

after lunch about 2pm i was getting ready for a date hehehe... and before that daan muna kami sa hospital because my other pamangkin is in hospital, wawa naman, she's a month younger that bumbum.. she's be turning 2 months this aug. 27... and her nickname is.. bambam!... ang cute ng mga nicknames nila no hehehe.. bumbum and bambam!! kapag ako daw ang nagka-baby and pangalan .. bambum! hehehe.. **sagwa naman nun!** hehehe

after an hour visit sa hospital, we headed on the ATC ( alabang town center ) with my yummy.. actually he wanted to watch ant bully at the Imax theater at MOA ( mall of asia ) kaya lang i thought na its too expensive for an animation na sobrang pambata, so, sa ATC kami, and watched CLICK of adam sadler and kate beckinsale. It was fun and touchy. The film is good ( for me, kasi im not the super critic talaga eh )... galeng ni adam sadler :-) ang moral lesson : don't hurry on things, try to enjoy even the not so pleasant things or happenings in life because u might be missing on some important events in your life and regret it when its really too late.

after watching movie, deretso sa office.. need to work pa and have to stay late the following day because some of our clients from US were here to visit and do a tour on some of our buildings.. i was so nervous... pati tuhod ko nanginginig *tama ba spelling ko???* sa tensyon... kasi unang-una ngayon ko lang sila ma-meet.. secondly mapapasabak ako ng englishan hahahaha eh mahina ako sa english.. at higit sa lahat.. sampu silang lahat.. waaaaaa patay na talaga!!....

but things went well, ndi naman ako nabulol or hinimatay pagkakita ko sa kanila hehehehe, nag-utuan, chikahan, bolahan.. hahaha... tanong sa mga projects, turn around times, error rate, manpower, at kung ano ano pa...

at pagka-alis nila.. para akong kandilang nauupos.. kasi nakahinga na ako ng maluwag hehehe..

kaya yun, i went home at 12:30pm and got home at 1:30pm then sleep at 2:00pm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. imagine 31hrs akong gising... sobra!!!

kaya pagpasok ko kanina dito sa work.. late ako ng 33 minutes! hehehe...

my weekend was not fun, i just stayed home and sleep all day... as usual 3rd shift na naman kasi ako... i went home a bit late, then went to the mall to buy some books.. when i reached home, ginising ko yung pamangkin ko para maglaro kami hehehe.. he's so cute talaga.. kahit pagalitan ako ng nanay ko ndi ko pinansin basta kinarga ko cya galing sa duyan and then hinele-hele ko hehehe... syempre spoiled kay tita si bumbum eh... at good news he is not wearing gloves anymore hehehe.. damulag na daw kasi cya hehehe...

and then right after eating my brunch i was ready to doze off.. nilapag ko na din sa duyan si bumbum at hinayaan ko na rin cya to fall asleep.. kasi, just like me graveyard shift din cya... graveyard shift cya naglalaro at nagpapasaway hehehe.. manang-mana sa titang pretty.. lol.

i asked my sister na yugyugin ako at 4pm.... kasi the buzz!!! na, hehehehe.. ewan ko ba i just need na maki-chismis sa showbiz kung ano na ba latest.. unfortunately when i opened my eyes it was 7pm already!!! hay.. na-miss ko tuloy si tita cristy, tito boy at lola kris!! and wondering ano kaya bago sa the buzz... *sabay hikab*

.. and bumbum was still sleeping hehehe.. takaw din sa tulog, puyat kasi sa kaka-pasaway eh.. at syempre wala na naman akong magawa, kaya ginising ko na cya... kasi past six hours na the last time na dumedede cya ng gatas nya...at syempre pa maglalaro na kami, hehehe.... my pamangkin is so talkative, kahit na 3 months old pa lang.. he's making sounds na and he keeps on smiling... plus the fact na he has 2 dimples, cleft chin and very round pair of eyes.. san ka pa diba. hehehe.. pupusta ako gwaping to paglaki.. **sana maging artista** hehehe

at yun.. after ng isang oras na laro namin, tulog na ulet si tita hehehe. night night bumbum.

.. hay pasencya na kayo kung walang wenta ang wento ko, ganito talaga ako kapag dinadalaw ni anne.... ni ANNETOK!!... nyahahahahahaha ( ang corny mo jenn!! ) nyahahahaha.... kape pa ngaaaaaa at redbull!!! ((( shabu na lang kaya, kasi mas effective daw yun na pampagising eh ))) *** kamot sa ulo, sabay lingon-lingon*** joke lang po hehehe...

its weekend again.. i have nothing to do but to stay home and sleep... hehehe.. im at the night shift and its really hard on me to go malling or visit any place and be awake the whole day when i was at work last night...

and right now, im trying a new craft... tadaaa!!! STENCILING!... this sounds fun.. im a frustrated painter.. and i can't even do sketches... even to draw sticks are not my cup of tea really, and i admire people who got the talent on painting or any form of drawings...

james, my american friend gave me a stenciling set as a gift and i really. really appreciate it. :-)

and because im one of those very-bad-on-drawing-or-painting-ever.... and considering myself a hopeless case on that field hehehe.. i already gave up on that long time ago.... but now i will try which seems to be close enough with painting.... stenciling! yey!!!!

SUKOB. the only word that comes out on everybody's mouth today... "napanood mo na sukob??"... everyone is asking around.... and after 2 weeks of my frustrations of not finding some time to watch it, finally yesterday i was inside on one of those SM movie house and guess what? .... yeah you're right.. screaming my heart out. hehehe... take note i heard some men screamed too hahaha.

Its been three weeks since it has opened and yet they are still a lot of people wanted to watch it. And believe me every penny you'll spend surely worth it. I can say that this is a very good film. Better than "Feng Shui" ( if ever u had the chance to watch it )

Sukob is story about a superstitions belief wherein siblings got married within the same year. And because of that, Sandy's ( Kris Aquino ) and Diana's ( Claudine Barretto ) lives would change forever.

The scare is effective. Sukob really gave the audience a lot of things to get hoarse about. And right now Im having a post-horror-film-syndrome, hahaha ( i can't use the restroom and elevator alone )

One of the most-screamed-at scene was when a nude Wendell Ramos was in the shower, and the flower-girl ghost was stalking him. I am not sure if the screams were because of fear that Wendell was going to die, or because Wendell was butt-naked in the shower.... but actually for me im screaming for both! hahahaha

Sukob is not bad. People looked satisfied as they went out of the cinema, and although its a horror film everyone is smiling after the movie. It is also a manifestation that our film industry had definitely improved thru the years.

Its a must-see-movie... but just remember...

MMK presents.. mhel.

i was literally running home last night just to catch up with MMK ( maalala mo kaya - abs-cbn ).. and luckily it hasn't started yet when i reached home... the story is about mhel...he is a loving son, a good kuya and a caring uncle... he is a very intelligent school teacher that had lost his sanity thru traumatic experience of being bumped by a car and thru stress.

.. and as always its a tearjerker....

i was very moved by mhel's story... and i admired him for his attitude. despite his illness he knows what is the right thing to do. i admired his bravery, his affections towards his family, his sincerity.

piolo pascual has done a great job playing the role as mhel.. he is definitely one of the good local actors we have right now... jodi sta.maria was equally good who played mhel's younger sister.

i have learned that showing your love with your family does not require intellegence and healty minds... a pure heart is enough.

on the lighter mode, my 2 makukulet na brothers were sent by their school to compete for a quiz bee and programming contest on a division level. Nine schools were to compete against each other. And fortunately one of my brother won, a 2nd placer on the programming contest! yey!!!..... mana sa ate hehehehe....

im so proud of them... im planning to buy them some reward :-) they are really good studs... ndi sayang ang pagwo-work ni ate :-)

im excited over the weekend... going to my tita's bday celebration.. we'll met some cousins and chika to the max hehehe...

and also.. got a surprise text from my good friend who works in dubai, she's here for a vacation... waaaaa i remember those days... na wala kaming ginawa kundi puro kamalditahan... hahaha... but seriously we are good girls... wag nga lang gagalitin hehehe...

and oh... its raining again! uh oh...
